Acer Aspire X1200
$425.00
Released September, 2008
The Pros:Compact and space saving design fits well into confined living room environments. Power efficient, only 79 watts at peak load, makes it a good choice as a home media-center/server. Quite and capable cooling system, keeps the warm running AMD processor under control even in the small case.
The Cons:Has a PCIe slot, but the case too small to fit in any worth while graphics upgrades. Acer customer support is poor, expect off shore support, it has been a consistent issue with Acer and its sub brands.
