The EeeBox PC B202 is a small form-factor, energy-efficient computer released by Asus in late 2009. This EeeBox PC comes with a form of Linux preloaded on the system, called “Express Gate.” Within seconds of turning on the B202, the user is presented with a customized desktop with icons for a web browser, a chat program, a file manager, a photo utility and Skype.

If users don’t need any of these applications, the default operating system will load (Windows XP). The EeeBox PC B202 features an Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive and integrated GMA 950 graphics. 802.11b/g/n networking is supported along with wired Ethernet connections as well. Other add-ons include 4 USB 2.0 ports for expansion, and a multi-card reader for sharing media. The Asus EeeBox PC B202 would be suitable for users with basic computing needs and limited desk space.
