The Compulab fit-PC is a tiny, silent, low-power computer. The fit-PC is roughly the size of a paperbook at 4.7" x 4.6" x 1.6" (120 mm x 116 mm x 40 mm) and weighs a mere 16 oz. (450 g).

It features a fanless design, as its black anodized enclosure serves as a heatsink, dissipating heat into the environment. The fit-PC is marketed as a maintenance-free, set-it-and-forget-it type of computer ideal for applications in the home, office, or in school. It comes with Linux pre-installed, and Compulab claims that it can run Windows XP.

#compulab_fit_pc The Sony and OQO devices are UMPC with keyboards, mice-equivalents, and Touch Screens all built into one device. There is barely any grounds for comparison here.
