The Dell OptiPlex 790 is a mid-range desktop tower aimed specifically at the family/home computing market. It features Intel Core i 2nd generation Sandy Bridge processor options, up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB of storage with 128GB SSD options and AMD Radeon HD and integrated Intel HD graphics options.

Additionally, the OptiPlex 790 sports a multi-in-one media card reader and a number of case options.

The OptiPlex 790's Sandy Bridge processor options allow it to handle day-to-day use with minimal slowdown at the lowest configurations with higher configurations allowing for more intensive use.
