Dell Studio Hybrid PC

Introduced in late July 2008, the Studio Hybrid PC is a miniature PC from Dell aimed at individuals with limited space or those looking for a stylish alternative to a full tower PC. While being slightly larger than new Atom-based desktop PCs, the Studio Hybrid PC contains much more powerful components and connectivity options similar to that of a full system including dual core Pentiums or Core 2 Duos, up to 4GB of RAM, a large 320GB SATA hard disk, a slot loaded DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, 5 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and DVI video connections and a digital S/PDIF audio connection.

With a body that could be configured to stand horizontally or vertically, the Studio Hybrid also features the ability to replace the outer shell, with many different colours to choose from. As cheap as $499 for the basic stand-alone system, full systems including monitor start at $699 and continue upwards to $1099 for a Blu-ray model.
