#dell_vostro_220 Xp-Pro goes in from the DELL Disk. Set HD in BIOS to emulate ATA & it will install with no problems. Use the driver disk you got with the unit to install them. Mine came w/3GB RAM & I removed the 250 SATA w/Vista & replaced with a 500GB SATA & XP-Pro. The DELL XP-Pro disk is all over the place, especialy at PC dealers. A very fast machine!

#dell_vostro_220 The current where to buy link goes to a pretty decent offer - get a ton of upgrades all for free: an E7300 processor ($80 savings), 250GB drive ($20) a DVD burner ($30). All you need to do is upgrade to 2GB of RAM (for a reduced price of $10), and you have a pretty capable Internet surfing monster.
