This is just one way, Everex keeps costs down. The gPC2 does not make many upgrades to the original gPC, offering the same CPU, RAM, and video specifications. The hard disk now uses SATA-150 instead of ATA-133, though it is still 80GB. Like the original gPC, it is available at Walmart and various other online retailers for $199.
