Gateway DX4300-17
$650.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Sleek looking design with nice lines and a shiny finish. Powerful enough to play most games, although you'll need to use medium settings. Output of HD video to a larger HDTV looks sharp and clear, doesn't lose any frames.
The Cons:Doesn't have the processing power for high-demand applications or games on high graphics settings. Not a lot of expansion capabilities due to limited open slots and a smaller PSU.
The DX4300-17 is a mid-range desktop computer from Gateway. The system is built around a 2.6GHz, quad-core AMD processor, featuring 6 GB of DDR2 RAM and 1 TB of hard drive space. It is not a gaming system, however, lacking a discrete graphics chip.
