Announced shortly after the release of Intel's i7 processors -the FX6800 series is a pair of high end gaming PCs from Gateway. Cheaper than the majority of competitors the FX6800-01 includes a Core i7-920 processor, 3GB of DDR3 RAM and a capable ATI Radeon HD 4850 video card for a cool 1249.99.

A higher end model, the FX76800-05 includes a faster Core i7-940, 6GB of DDR3 RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2. The high end also includes an 80GB SSD drive for a quick main drive and a 1TB drive for storage.
