The HP Compaq DC5800 NV317UT is a mid-priced desktop PC falling near the bottom of HPS DC5800 series of computers designed for business use. The minitower design saves space without reducing function. It is powered by aan Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53GHz processor and had 4GB of DDR2 memory.

There is a 500 GB SATA 3G hard drive for ample data storage, as well as a Super-Multe DVDRW drive with Lightscribe technology allowing you to burn DVD discs with silkscreen-quality disc labels. The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 graphics with 3D enhancements ensures smooth visual performance and there is also integrated high definition audio. The system comes with a keyboard and optical mouse, and runs on Windows XP Pro, with option to upgrade to Vista Business.
