HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590t Series
$1,499.99
Released January, 2011
The Pros:One of the cheapest options for those seeking a hexacore i7. Exterior chassis design is simple but attractive. Nvidia and AMD high-end graphics options.
The Cons:Not a lot of room inside the chassis, wiring isn't secured at all. Could build a similar system for about the same price with more room for expansion. No standard PCI slots (only PCI-E).
The HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590t Series represents the most powerful gaming desktop computers available from HP. For starters, it relies on an Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition six-core processor with Intel Turbo Boost technology, which can automatically accelerate the performance at any time to make up during moments of extreme workload.
Plus the processor has 12 software threads, so that when playing games, the particulars (artificial intelligent, physics, rendering) can be spread across all twelve, which basically means it can handle extremely demanding games much better than a conventional CPU. What separates the HPE-590t Series from other Pavilion Elite series is this is the only one to come with an integrated Blu-ray player, not to mention an included premium graphics card and audio chip with which users can play games with high quality visuals, transmit music through their multi-channel home audio system, and much more.

Comes with a 480-watt power supply which barely supplies enough power for stock components, let alone additional upgrades.
