HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f

$500.00 Released June, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Multi-core processing capabilities enable smooth operation of CPU-intensive activities - suitable for video, music and image editing in addition to word processing and internet browsing. Little to no operations noise - internal fan and CPU components are virtually silent, and even manual disc loading is fairly quiet. Thin, lightweight form factor is great home office or small business applications - can easily be placed underneath or on top of a small desk.

The Cons:Monitor connectivity is limited to VGA only - severely limits user options, discounting DVI and HDMI units. Slim tower design makes it difficult to locate/upgrade specific components - internal layout is very cramped and hard to access. Stock graphics support is designed strictly for running Windows 7 and related programs - users wishing to run games of any sort will be required to purchase a separate card.

The HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f is a compact desktop computer designed to fit into those snug office or home spaces where space economy is the highest priority. Unlike the Slimline e5300, the Slimline s5220f comes with genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit which takes full use of the 4G PC2 6400 DDR2 SDRAM memory that comes with the computer.
