Featured on the s5305z is either an AMD Sempron or optional Athlon dual-core processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to a 750GB, 7200rpm SATA HDD. It comes with an integrated DVD player, integrated 10/100 Ethernet, integrated 5.1-channel audio and an integrated VGA graphics card, but users can upgrade to a VGA/HDMI card, a Blu-ray/DVD combo disc and WiFi Internet. The unit also hosts expansion options for a digital TV tuner. The base unit, despite its extremely low price, does offer enough functionality for Internet browsing, 3D game playing and, of course, word processing.
