Product Shot 1The Mvix HDHome S2 is a mid-range HTPC with a variety of built-in features to help make it an appropriate living room media powerhouse. It comes with an Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 4GB), a Blu-ray optical drive, a 250GB SATA hard drive (expandable up to 2TB) and NVIDIA's Ion graphics processor.

Additionally, the HDHome S2 has a variety of inputs (6 USB 2.0, 1 eSATA, VGA, DVI, HDMI, a headphone and microphone jack and S/PDIF) as well as an all-in-one media card reader, Bluetooth 2.0 compatibility, WiFi support and an inbuilt ATSC TV tuner.

Despite its somewhat weaker Intel Atom 330 Dual Core processor, the HDHome S2 is still a very capable media center and its tiny form factor means it can fit very easily amongst your home theatre setup. Its variety of inputs ensure that the HDHome is ready for any occasion from 7.1 channel high definition audio compatibility to HDMI for true HD output to your high definition television. The HDHome S2 comes equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium, allowing for out-of-the-box use with very little setup.
