Shuttle X27

$189.00 Released September, 2008

Product Shot 1 Due to launch sometime in September 2008, the Shuttle X27 is a new miniature desktop system. Based on the new Atom processor, the X27 is far from a powerful desktop system. Not unlike the MSI Wind desktop system or the EEE Box, the X27 is meant to be small, cool, quiet and as full featured as possible without breaking the bank.

Powerful enough to surf the web, communicate with friends and even watch 720p media, the X27 costs $189 without an Atom processor, memory or a hard disk. Fully configured it is expected to cost upwards of $500, which compared to the $350 dollar EEE Box or the extremely cheap $139 MSI barebones does not appear a reasonable option for the target market's budget.
