The combination allows it to transmit audio/video content to almost any screen via SPDIF, HDMI (1.3), DVI, and VGA ports; receive high-definition video footage from the Internet via Gigabit LAN and WiFi; and store large contents of files with USB/eSATA drives or the integrated SATA HDD (500GB – 1TB), although a solid-state drive is available as an additional feature. Unlike its sibling, the unit lacks a slot-loading disc player, but an external CD/DVD/BD drive can be hooked up to it.
